Eternal Thanksgiving

What great, great treasures the Lord God has given us century by century, year by year, month by month, day by day!  O, the blessings He gives us that we can hardly count them all even if we tried.  All things are by the Lord, of the Lord, and through the Lord. He made all things and holds things together by His Word, and makes all things work in doing what they were created by Him to do…in Him we live and move and have our being…

I am thankful for you Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Son of God, our Lord and our Savior, our Lord and our God.  I am thankful for each beautiful day you give us; for the earth, the sun, the moon, and the stars; for the grass, the herbs, and the trees that no man can count.  I am thankful that You provided a way for forgiveness of our sins and eternal life with You when You died on the cross  so long ago for us, that all who believe shall not perish but have everlasting life.  I am thankful I will one day be with You in Heaven.  I am thankful for the soon coming Rapture.

I am thankful for my birth and life whereby You have brought me to the new man I am; thankful for my family my wife, my children, my grandchildren, my brothers and sister, my mom and dad, my grandparents, my cousins, my friends, all those I minister to…all You have given me to help…

I am thankful for my healing, my walking, my breathing, my witness, our ministry, our church and congregation, my students, my college, the program You helped me develop and administer, for my worship, and praise and thanksgiving to You, O, LORD, for my studies, writing and books, and proclaiming Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior…for the insights and understanding of the Scriptures You have given me and continue to help me and guide me…for Your mercy, love and grace…

But most of all, dear Lord, I am thankful for You the blessed and holy Trinity, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit…forever and ever, Lord, my eternal thanksgiving.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

Amen.

Who’s Gonna Know?

Today, in this 18th year of the 21st Century in the Year of our Lord+ , few take time in their busy schedule to look into the things of the past, and into the things future which shall surely come to pass in the Lord Jesus Christ’s timetable of events of history that He has ordained to happen at an exact moment, at an exact time!

Since thousands of years ago, God spoke the Words He intended to have written for the sake of all mankind.  But who’s listening?  Who’s gonna know?  You don’t have to be a scholar to read, to understand the Holy Bible!  You just have to believe.  In this Book of books is everything you need to know about your origins, and God’s plan for your life, and what happens at death, and the meaning of ‘life after death.’

A man;s got to know the “big picture, and the score.”  He’s got to know where he’s going, and where, and when, and how!  And that door is found only, only, only in Jesus Christ, Messiah, the Son of God, the Lord and Savior who died on th cross for our sins, and the sins of the  whole world!   There is no other, period!

Sure, you can think the things said here away, out of your mind, because, you might say, “I’m too busy; got too much to do, too much to listen to; got to just enjoy life now because when I die, that’s it…that’s all she wrote in the last chapter of ‘What’s the Use?”

So hopefully I can put a thought in your mind rather than to listen to the negative noise of society, and the “whisperers” to lead you astray, rather the “Good News of the Gospels.”

To believe is to tell others about Jesus Christ and what He has done in your life and spread His love.  Shout the name of Jesus!  Proclaim Him.  Pray to Him.  Confess Him as Lord and Savior of your life and watch things change!  Invite Him in to your heart again and again and again.  Live in Him and through Him and by Him…you will then gain the forgive of sins and eternal life, and your life at that moment will be the better!

So, let me ask, “Who’s Gonna Know?”  YOU.

May God’s mercy be upon you and by His grace, bless you richly.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

SOS

On the Holy Island in northeast, England, in the early morning as the mist rolls out to sea, Brother Monk is up and about.  Perplexed.  “After all these years, after all my writings,” he thinks, “can it be the Lord’s will that someone, somewhere will find my writings and believe in me?”  “That I perchance may be published?”  “Is this just wishful thing? yet it has been a recurring dream, that maybe, one day…?”

Brother Monk tugs on his robe and slips into his sandals.  He has completed this request and has rolled the paper tight and pushed it into the bottle; next, he tightly corks the bottle and seals the top and cork  with wax and lets it dry.  Within the hour he is out in the surf and flings the bottle as far as he can throw it, and watches it bob up and down as the tide carries it out to sea.

The letter reads as follows:

“To Whom it Might Concern: If this letter finds the right person who can act on my request, all and well.

I am a writer and a monk on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Yorkshire, England.  I have in my possession a library in this monastery of writings of a believer in Jesus Christ written from the soul.  Perhaps the world may want to read these writings of many years in the early part of the 21st Century?

If you find this letter and are interested in this endeavor I have worked so hard at, then please contact me at your earliest convenience.”

May God bless you.

JESUS IS COMING

In the land and throughout the world let us not miss the opportunity to I preach, “Jesus Is Coming!”  For as certain as the sun comes up every day, so is the certainty of His coming again.  No question about it; He must come, He will come for His words of truth and life plainly tell us that in the Holy Bible.  Search the Scriptures and you will find the precious doctrine in the New Testament.  He is coming for His church, His true believers before He comes to reign in His kingdom on earth.

I am not going to take time to quote the Bible here, you can do that for yourself; only believe and you will surely be blessed.

Today, as in the past 20 centuries, God is calling people everywhere to His Son by His Holy Spirit…all that the Father draws will come to Me, and I shall give them life.  Only by Christ is there forgiveness of sin and eternal life with GOD…there is no other way!

In this life, when we die, and we all have to die someday, GOD is taking us one by one…some to Heaven (believers in Christ Jesus), some to hell (unbelievers).  And at the moment of death, the immortal soul (spirit) leaves the body and either immediately goes up to Heaven to be with the Lord, or goes down to hell (Sheol, hades) with all the other unbelievers of all time.  One day the resurrection will occur: those who were buried and sleep in Christ will rise at the Rapture and the living believers will be translated into new, glorified, immortal bodies and go up to Heaven; the rest (unbelievers) will not be resurrected until after the 1,000 year rule of Christ  on earth at the Great White Throne Judgment.  And after that they will spend eternity separated from GOD in the Lake of Fire.

So first we die one by one by one; later resurrected in two uncountable groups: those of the Rapture who are Christ’s at His coming, and those who are not Christ’s after the seven-year Tribulation, after His second coming to set up His Kingdom and reign ’till  a thousand years have passed, after Satan is thrown into the Lake of Fire, then will this second group, the unbelievers be resurrected to face Christ in judgment.  They will join Satan and his son, Antichrist and the False Prophet and all the billions of others.

And so, that’s why we must proclaim the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One and only One who is Coming Again!

Wake up, wake up, wake up, and believe, because JESUS IS COMING!

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

Amen.

Transfiguration Day

Today, In the Year of our Lord + August 6, 2018, in the Christian Year, I remember and celebrate in my very being the great, great event of the “Transfiguration” of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, when He was on earth I recon the year 33 A.D.  But, who else knows?  Who else cares?

Are you interested and willing to go a little further?

In the Holy Bible, the written Word of God, in the New Testament, in the Gospel According to Saint Matthew, in chapter 17, the account is as follows:

THE TRANSFIGURATION (Greek, metamorphoo)

“And after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain apart, and was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light.

And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking with Him.

Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou will, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him.

And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.” (Matthew 17:1-9)

This was a view the three apostles saw of the risen, glorified Christ, in His new, resurrected body after the death He will die on the cross for the sins of the whole world, and yours and mine too.  Soon He will one day come again, in the clouds,  in power and brightness and glory and resurrect all believers who died in Him, and translate all living believers at that time to glorious, immortal bodies…and so shall we meet the Lord Jesus in the air above the clouds and follow Him up to Heaven; and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Sounds good?  Only believe!

Moses died and was resurrected and taken up to Heaven; Elijah never died, but was translated into a glorified, immortal body and taken up to Heaven.   Moses represents those who die in Christ and will be resurrected into new, glorified, immortal bodies; Elijah represents those living believers who will be changed to immortal, imperishable bodies at Christ’s coming at the Rapture.  And like them, so shall we ever be with the Lord! Take these words to comfort and tell others, for the time is short!

And, at Christ’s Second Coming, He will shine in glory just like that of the Transfiguration, in the Revelation, chapter 19, verses 11-16:

THE GLORIOUS APPEARING OF JESUS

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him  was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war.

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He himself.

And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.

And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

And He has on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

And don’t worry about riding lessons; it will all be taken care of, but you gotta get there first!  AND THE ONLY WAY IS TO BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS AS LORD AND SAVOR OF YOUR LIFE.

My prayer is that today through the Holy Spirit, you will come to the saving faith of Jesus Christ, asking Him to forgive your sins, and inviting Him into your heart as Lord and Savior unto eternal life with Him forever and ever.

With the blessings of this knowledge, and the blessings of this life, may you be blessed today, in the name of the most blessed and holy Trinity, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the One and only GOD, Creator of all things,

+

Amen.

Once Upon A Time, Part IV

The old world of Adam and Eve and all their descendents had existed about 1,655-6 years from Creation to the Noahic Flood that destroyed every living thing on the face of the earth! Only Noah and his wife and their three sons and their wives, eight people in all, survived with hundreds of animals and birds on a giant ship they built called the “Ark.”  All was according to God’s plan to start over new and repopulate the earth, as Genesis tells us.  If we are using the B.C. method of dating, then this event would have occurred in 2348 B.C.  Our time would be some 6,000 years into the future!

In his great work, “Annals of the World,” 1658, the Rev. Archbishop James Ussher called this, “The Second Age of the World.”

After the Flood, Noah, who was 601 years old, no longer had children.  However, his three sons, Japheth, Shem, and Ham had many  sons and daughters, and their  sons and daughters, too, so that the new, start-over population of the new world began by these people in the land below the slopes of the mountains of Ararat.  The first-born after the Flood was Arphaxad, Shem’s first born son in the year 1658 AM or 2346 BC.

Now in Genesis 10, after the Flood, it asks the question: what became of the sons of Noah?  Namely, the 70 nations!  All humanity from this time forward came from the three sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Within a couple hundred years these people migrated down to the land of Shinar (Mesopotamia) between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, and there in direct disobedience to God’s command to repopulate the earth, they stayed and made bricks to build a tower and a city.

It was then that God came down from Heaven to have a closer look, and He thwarted their plans to become mighty by causing each to speak a different language so that they could not understand one another!  And so different groups began to migrate to different parts of the world.  Thus began the foundation of civilization as we know it according to languages, cultures and nations!

Humanity began again after the Flood in the Middle East, in what is now modern Iraq, not Africa as secularists promote!

And so they were on the move to start a colony in new lands to the east, west, north and south. And they did this within 200-300 years.

Some stayed, like Nimrod and his followers in the region of Babylonia; most moved to a new location to start their civilization.  And here is where history begins according to what was and is to be found.  We cannot go back 4,000 years to creation and the first age of the world that was destroyed in the world-wide Flood; but we can go back almost 3,000 years, certainly 2500 years and find the ruins of civilizations after the Flood.

Japheth, the younger son of Noah, had seven sons, and they migrated to the following areas from Babylonia:

Gomer and his people migrated to the Black Sea area.

Magog and his people migrated to southern Russia and the Black Sea and Caspian Sea area and became the Scythians.

Madai and his people migrated to the Caspian Sea area and India and became the Medes.

Javan and his people migrated to Asia Minor, Greece, and the islands of the Aegean Sea.

Tubal and his people migrated to east Asia Minor and Siberia.

Meshech and his people migrated to southern Russia and the Moscow area.

Tiras and his people migrated to Italy and became the Etruscans.

Significantly, Gomer, Japheth’s first son, had three sons.  The three sons of Gomer were: Ashkenaz, who went to Armenia and became the Indo-Germanic tribes.  Riphath settled in the Black Sea area and became the Celts.  Togarmah. Gomer’s third son settled in Turkey.

Javan, Japheth’s fourth son had four sons who were Elishah, who settled in Cyprus, Crete, and Greece; Tarshish, who migrated to Spain; Kittim, who migrated to Asia Minor and the coastlands and became the Phoenicians; and Dodanim, who also settled in Greece.

It doesn’t take that many years for people groups to cover hundreds and thousands of miles to find a home.

Ham had four sons who were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan, the one God cursed.  From the Babylonia area, these groups settled in the following lands: Cush settled in Nubia and Ethiopia; Mizraim and his people went to Egypt; Put settled in North Africa and Somalia; and Canaan in the land of Canaan and became the Canaanites.

Cush’s sixth son, Nimrod, built Babylon and Nineveh and founded the Assyrian Empire as well.   He was a mighty hunter of men, a leader and builder, and rebelled greatly against God.

Now we come to the sons of Shem who also founded many nations, and each of these  people groups had a leader or leaders, and organized as such, migrated from the land of Shinar of the Euphrates River to new discovered areas of all points of the compass.

The significance of the line of Shem id the he is the father of the Hebrews, who will become Israel and the Jewish people in the future.  The “seed line” to the Messiah, Jesus Christ, goes through Shem, then his third son, Arphaxad.

Shem, Noah’s oldest, had five sons after the Flood, and from these and their sons came 26 nations within the span of five generations (40 years for a generation x  5 = 200 years).  The sons of Shem were:

Elam, who lived in the area east of Babylon, Mesopotamia, who would become the Persians (modern-day Iran).

By the way, and of significant note, the cities of Babylon, Nineveh, and many other cities of the region were built hundreds of years before anything in Egypt!  If only historians would trust the Bible!  It’s all right there!  God has told us so and written it for us.  What is taught today is wrong.

Asshur, the second son of Shem, lived in Assyria along the Tigris River.

Arphaxad lived along the Euphrates River and became the Chaldeans and built the city of Ur.

Lud lived in the area of Lydia or Asia Minor.

Aram lived in the area of Syria (common Hebrew name for Syria is “Aram.”).

So, with this bit of Biblical history from Genesis 10 and 11, let’s step in the shoes of the great Rev. Archbishop James Ussher of Ireland, who devoted a good deal of his life to research and write the chronology of “The Annals of the World.”

Utilizing Ussher’s, “The Annals of the World,” the following is extracted:

Dates will appear as AM (Anno Mundi) Years of the world from Creation; BC (Before Christ) Years before the Christian era.

in the year 1657 AM,  “When Noah was six hundred and one years old, and the first day of the new post-flood world, the surface of the earth was now all dry.  Noah removed the covering of the Ark (Genesis 8:13).” A week later God commanded Noah to leave the Ark and all that was within.

“After he left the ark, Noah offered sacrifices to God for his blessed preservation.  God restored the nature of things destroyed by the flood.  He now permitted men to eat meat for their food, and He gave the rainbow for a sign of the covenant which He made with man at this point.”

In 1658 AM, (2346 BC) Arphaxad was born to Shem  when he was a hundred years old, two years after the flood.”  Writer’s note:  Rev. Archbishop Ussher’s “Annals of the World” was published in 1658 AD- two years after his death.

1693 AM (2311 BC) “Salah was born when his father Arphaxad was 35 years old (Genesis 11:12).”

1723 AM (2281 BC) “Eber was born when Salah, his father,  was 35 years old (Genesis 11:14).”

1757 AM (2247 BC) “When Eber was 34 years old, Peleg, his son, was born.  He called him Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided (Genesis 11:16, 10:25).”  If this happened in the days of his birth, then it seems that when Peleg was born, Noah, who formerly knew all the places which were now covered with bushes and thorns, divided the land among his grandchildren.  When this was done, they then went from those eastern parts (where they first went from the mountains of Ararat) into the valley of Shinar (Genesis 11:2).”

Here the people impiously conspired, as we find in the Apocrypha, to hinder their dispersion, which had been commanded by God and begun by Noah.  They co-operated together to build the city and tower of Babylon.  God frustrated this project by the confusion of languages He sent among them.  Hence it took the name of Babel (Genesis 11:9).”

“The dispersion of nations followed.  Many companies and colonies settled down in various places according to their languages.”

“The thirteen sons of Joktan, the brother of Peleg, as recorded in Genesis 10:26-30, were among the captains and heads of various companies”

“Yet still it appears that the oldest son of Joktan must be six years younger than Peleg.  So that at least the youngest of those thirteen sons of Joktan, namely, Jobab and three other brothers of his who are mentioned before him, must be younger still.  The countries in which they settled, and which were rich in gold: Sheba, Ophir and Havilah, were named after these men. Because of their youth, these brothers could not have been capable of such an expedition of leading colonies until some years after Reu was born to Peleg.”

1762 AM (2242 BC) “The Tower of Babel happened five years after the birth of Peleg.”

Regarding Babylon in these years, it appears that the Babylonians (were a civilization long before Egypt!) devoted themselves to the study of astronomy, even from the very days of Nimrod, from whom all that region took the name of the land of Nimrod.  Nimrod built Babylon and was the instigator of the building of the Tower of Babel according to Josephus.  Moses affirmed that the royal seat of that kingdom was here.  Nimrod made Babylon famous in those days.”

1787 AM (2217 BC) “Reu was born when Peleg, his father, was 35 years old.”

1816 AM (2188 BC) “About this time, Mizraim, the son of Ham, led his colony into Egypt.  Hence, Egypt was sometimes called the land of Mizraim, sometimes of Ham.”

And so we have had a look into how and where our languages and Peoples and nations come from.  It all begin again after the Flood of Noah’s days, and his three sons, Shem Ham and Japheth, and the children and grandchildren and so on migrated to the land of Shinar, Babylonia, and from there God sent them all over the face of the earth.  Here are the years these historic events took place, not 10,000 or higher as is commonly taught and believed, but within 2-3 thousand since the Flood!

Blessed be GOD, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit for these insights and men, like Ussher to open our eyes to the truth of our origins.

In Jesus Christ’s name,

Amen.

Once Upon A Time, Part III

How blessed to know and understand God’s holy words of the Holy Bible!   Sadly, Satan and his multitude of fallen angels, spirit beings who are demons and who greatly influence the minds of men into believing and promoting lies, have succeeded!  No wonder there is so much confusion and interpretation when it comes to God’s word!

I believe that when God created the Earth and the sea, it most probably was one great  land mass surrounded by water on all sides, and there was a vast inland sea that would become the Mediterranean Sea after the world-wide Flood of Noah’s time in Genesis 6.  This great land mass, know as “Pangaea,” was composed of all the land that we know today as the seven continents that at Creation were messed together as one, if you can imagine that?  And it is hard not to imagine that the sea, the land, and the air would have been populated in abundance because God commanded the creatures He had made to be fruitful and multiple and fill the whole earth-including mankind!  If this were not so, why do we find so many fossils of plants and animals all over the world? And I suppose if it were possible to dig large areas through the ice of Antarctica, we would also find many, many fossils, too.  From Adam and Eve’s children and their children and their children, generation after generation having children and moving all over the earth (they didn’t necessarily need boats), why in the 1600 years that would pass to the time of the Flood, why, you would have had a world population of tens of millions of people!  And, please note, like any other animal, there were dinosaurs all over the place!  Contrary to popular belief, the FLOOD destroyed everything living on the face of the earth-everything, including dinosaurs!

And God caused the power of the waters to separate the land mass into seven continents we have today!

When God removed all the water that had flooded the whole earth, and the earth was dry and He brought forth grass and herbs and tees, and new streams and rivers and lakes, and He brought clouds in the sky for rain and a rainbow as a sign that the earth would never again be destroyed by water…only then could Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives, and all the animals that were on the Ark and descend the slopes of the lesser mountains west of Mt. Ararat into the valleys below and begin a new life on a new earth.  After all, Noah and his family and all the animals that had been on the Ark could not have descended the high, snow-covered, icy slopes of the mountain.  no, that would have been too hard, too dangerous to be sure.  GOD knows what he’s doing; He made it so that they would e successful in starting over on a new earth.

Sons and daughters were born to Shem, Ham and Japheth…so that within a hundred or more years after leaving the Ark, the population swelled from the sons and daughters of them. And after 4-5 generations they numbered in the thousands and they lived separated from each other according to the tribes of Shem and Ham and Japheth, their fathers. It was time now to follow small rivers to a larger one that flowed south, the great Euphrates, as scouts had told them of warmer and more fertile valleys to the south.  Hadn’t God had told Noah and his sons to go and multiply and repopulate the earth?

Within this timeframe, many thousands of these people of many generations followed the Euphrates River south to the fertile land of Shinar.  They were one people of one  language at this time, and that language was Hebrew.  This was the very first language of Creation, the language God gave to Adam and Eve, the same language the sons and daughters of hundreds of generations that followed up to the time of the great World-wide Flood also spoke.  It was the language of Noah and his wife, their three sons and their wives, before and after the Flood.  It was the same language of all the generations od sons and daughters of Shem, Ham and Japheth as they now settled along the east bank of the Euphrates River in the land of Shinar.

Disregarding God’s command, and led by one of their leaders, the fierce Nimrod, they decided to stay!  There they began to build from bricks, Babylon, the first city of the post-Flood world.  And wanting to make a great name for themselves they began to build a great tower which would reach up into the heaven: the Tower of Babel!

Once Upon A Time, Part II

OK, here is how this all shakes out.

In the beginning GOD created the heaven and the earth.  He made all things in the span of six, regular 24 hour days, and on the first day of the very first week ever, the beginning, time began.

So in six days God created light and darkness, the heavens, the earth and seas, the sun, the moon, and the stars of the universe.

He covered the earth with grass, herbs and trees, and He made the fish in the seas, the birds of the air, land animals, and finally, man, in the image and likeness of God.

All things were created or made adult so that they could reproduce after their kind and fill the whole earth.

The first man, Adam was created an adult with the ability to speak, write and read.  The language God gave him was Hebrew.

Next, God placed Adam in a special, beautiful paradise He called ‘the Garden of Eden.  Adam named all the animals God brought to him, but he had no one to help him.  So God put Adam to sleep and took one of his ribs and made a woman who became Eve.

It wasn’t long before one of the created beings of the highest order, a mighty cherub named Lucifer, came down to Eden to try and turn the man and the woman against God y disobeying His command to not eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil!

So he used his power of deception by entering a serpent who was beautiful to gaze upon and who moved in an upright position.

And thus attacked Eve by telling a lie, that she would not die if she ate of the fruit of the tree God had commanded not to eat of.

Adam followed Eve and they were forced out of the Garden by God to live off the land on their own.

They had children, the first was Cain, the second was Abel, and other sons and daughters.  Over time, Cain grew jealous of Abel and killed him.  Now God forced Cain and his wife even further east to a land called Nod.  Here Cain had a son he called Enoch and built the very first city in history, and named it Enoch.

Cain had many more sons and daughters and they began to multiply and fill the region.

I recon all this tool place within 130 years from Creation, because when Adam was 130 years old, Eve bore him another son whom they named Seth.

From these sons and daughters, and their sons and daughters, and each generation multiplying following over the course of over a thousand years from Creation, the  earth became full of millions of people, and their daughters were very beautiful.

But Satan wasn’t content by what he did to Adam and Eve and Cain. No. he wanted more blood, more corruption, more evil in the hearts and minds of the people who now populated the earth, and so draw them away from God unto himself and thus their very souls.

So he released his fallen angels to appear as men and mate with human women to produce an ungodly offspring of fallen ones who now practiced evil and wickedness 24-7!

Satan had  succeeded in corrupting almost all of the population with the exception of just eight people: a righteous man of God named Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives.

And God saw the wickedness and evil in their hearts continually, day and night, of the very worst things people could do.  God would not put up with this much longer…therefore He would bring upon the whole earth a flood that would destroy every living thing on the earth…and he determined it would come in 120 years from that point forward.

He commanded Noah to build an Ark, a very large boat according to His exact specifications… .

Once Upon A Time, Part I

What now, Brother Monk?  Why are you here at the edge of our little island?  Especially with the wind up and the waves of the sea raging so?

It is the best time, Father Monk.

May I ask, “what on earth for”?  And what do you have in your hand?

Why, it is all part of my writing ministry, Father Monk.

After I have composed my thoughts and put them to writing on my paper, I roll it up tightly and stuff it in a glass bottle, cork it and seal it so as to be water tight.

Then I come here and I throw the bottle as far as I can into the sea and let the current take it to wherever it will, and hopefully, someone, somewhere will find the bottle with the message enclosed.

It is one of the ways I can spread the Gospel about the Good News of Jesus Christ.

“I see, ” said Father Monk.  And as he walked away smiling, he said, “Come in Brother Monk, let us get out of the storm and get some nourishment.

Now these are the words Brother Monk wrote:…

+In the Year of our Lord+ 2018, March 21st in Christendom and in His Holy Church…

Greetings and blessings in the name of God, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit…

May the Holy Spirit come upon you that you may know and believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior…

There is none other whereby your sins may be forgiven and obtain eternal life with Him at death.  I write this out of love for my fellow brother and sister…

As it is written in the Holy Bible:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

“For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.”

“He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

“And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil”

So much evil and lies have saturated the world through the tricks and deception of Satan and his army of fallen angels, who are demons, evil, wicked spirits who go throughout the earth and lead men astray, into error against belief in the only One true and living God, creator of heaven and earth and all things.  Then they refuse to believe the holy written Word of God, and follow unto eternal death the lie.

They try to figure out everything about life on earth, the origin of mankind, how things were created, how things work on earth, the sun and moon and the stars…on their own and away from God they walk in the error of the imagination of their hearts, and come up with fantastic man-made, man centered theories about our beginnings and the such!

And then they package this garbage with confidence that what they have devised as truth, is the truth, and foist it upon fertile, unknowing minds. And so our world that mostly lives in darkness and lies!

But, I wonder, what would our world be like if we believed and followed the Word of God in our lives, in history and science, in writing and teaching, in thought and prayer, in thanksgiving and praise to GOD, and only to the One and only GOD, the blessed and holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, one GOD?

Many, many, many in all the past centuries and even up to our time today, have fallen under the power of evil spirits, who worship them and listen to them and obey them!

But now I want to tell you of better things, things that happened not so long ago, that better explains our origins as God has planned all things in His time.

This will be continued, yet it was all contained in the message in the bottle…

Fare thee well,

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

Amen.

The Good Fight Of Faith

1 Timothy 6:11-21

“But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH.

Take hold of eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

In the sight of God who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame…

Until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in His own time- God the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is Immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see.

To Him be honor and might forever.  Amen.

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.  In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they might take hold of the life that is truly life.

Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care.  Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have departed from the faith.

Grace be with you all.”

We Christians are in Christ’s army.  May we never yield but fight against the spiritual forces of evil and wickedness, the world and the devil.  May we ever fight against the wrong ideas of man’s fertile imagination, and hold fast to our faith in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and all the promises He has secured for us in the next age of eternal life with Him.

Amen.
