“I AM” The Bread of Life

Song writer and singer, John Michael Talbot composed the following words of our Lord Jesus Christ reflecting forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Jesus Christ alone:

“I Am the Bread of Life, all who eat this Bread will never die…

I Am God’s love revealed, I Am broken that you might believe…

All who eat of this Heavenly Bread, all who drink this Cup of the Covenant…

You will live forever, for I will raise you up…

I Am the Bread of Life, all who eat this Bread will never die…

No one who comes to Me shall hunger again; no one who believes shall ever thirst…

All that the Father draws, shall come to Me, and I shall give them Bread…

I Am the Bread of Life, all who eat this Bread will never die…”

Now, my precious saints of God, believers in Jesus Christ, Savior and Lord, God, the Son of God, in the power of the Holy Spirit…

Take a piece of bread, bless it and give thanks, break off a small piece, take and eat, saying the prayer: the Body of Christ, the Bread of Heaven…Amen

In the same way, take a cup of red wine or grape juice. bless it and give thanks, drink it, and say the prayer: the Blood of Christ, the Cup of Salvation, keep us in eternal life…Amen

And then the prayer:

“Our blessing cup is a communion with the Blood of the Lamb…

What return shall I make to the Lord, for all the good He has done for me?

I will take  the cup of salvation, I will call upon the name of the Lord…

Our blessing cup is a communion with the Blood of the Lamb…

How precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His children…

Your servant am I, Your hand made son, and You have loosed my vows,..

Our blessing cup is a communion with the Blood of the Lamb…

I offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving, I will call upon the name of the Lord..

My vows to the Lord I will fulfill in the presence of the people of our  God…

Our blessing cup is a communion with the Blood of the Lamb..,

Our blessing cup is a communion with the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, He is the Lamb of God…”

In the mystery of Holy Communion, believe and take in to your life, your very heart, soul and mind, again and again the Lord Jesus Christ, as your personal Lord and Savior, the Son of God, our Lord and God…

Take this in remembrance of what He did for us, and be thankful.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

Amen.
