In Praise of JESUS

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

Blessed, blessed, blessed is the holy name of Almighty GOD, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and forevermore.

In the face of world opinion and politics, I say proclaim the name of Jesus, the Son of God.  Shout His glorious name at every opportunity, confess Him, praise, Him, give eternal thanks to Him for what He has done and will do. You supposed men and women of God in the military: are you so cowardly that you cannot say the name of Jesus, according to ungodly government policy, for fear of offending a person or religious group,  Really?  And you call yourself a Christian?  If you are ashamed to confess Jesus, He will be ashamed to confess you to the Father in heaven.

Rather, let us go to greater lengths to talk about the man Jesus and all the most awesome works He did.  Tell the story! Love the story; embrace the story. Tell of His death on the Cross; His mighty resurrection from the dead on the third day, and, later, His glorious ascension up to Heaven to be with the Father. Tell it. Proclaim it, You and those who hear will be blessed.

Remember, Jesus died for your sins, that believing, you might have eternal life with Him.

What’s in a name? Think about it. His name is the past.  His name is the present.  His name is the future.  His glorious, holy name is all things.  His name is praise, and prayer, and thanksgiving, and honor, and blessing, and glory. His testimony is the Spirit of prophecy, the things that were fulfilled of Him when He came as the Messiah, the Christ, The Suffering Servant and Prophet; and the things that shall be fulfilled as written in the Holy Bible at His most awesome and glorious Second Coming, to reign on earth a thousand years..

He was the Holy Child born unto us, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary.  In His name is light and life and truth. In His most wonderful name is our holy prayer.  And He shall one day return from Heaven with His mighty armies of Angels and Saints in glory and power, upon the clouds as bright as the sun, and every eye shall see him, the Warrior King and Judge.  Perhaps soon?

And His Name shall be called:

Listen to the songs of praise of the Saints in Heaven after the Rapture, as recorded in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ:

A Song to the Lamb

“Splendor and honor and kingly power are yours by right, O Lord our God.

For you created everything that is, and by your will they were created and have their being;

And yours by right, O Lamb that was slain, for with your blood you have redeemed for God,

From every family, language, people, and nation, a kingdom of priests to serve our God.

And so, to Him that sits upon the throne, and to Christ the Lamb,

Be worship and praise, dominion and splendor, for ever and forevermore.”

The Song of the Redeemed

“O ruler of the universe, Lord God, great deeds are they that you have done, surpassing human understanding.

Your ways are ways of righteousness and truth,

O King of all the ages.

Who can fail to do you homage, Lord, and sing the praises of your Name?

For you only are the Holy One.

All nations will draw near and fall down before you, because your just and holy works have been revealed.”

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever.  Amen

I go for awhile; Lord willing, I shall return soon in recovery.

Blessed and praise be to You, Lord Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, my God.  Amen.
