The Lord be with you…

Let us pray:

O, Lord, without You I am nothing and can do nothing.  Only in You, Heavenly Father, can I live and move and have my being; for I shall do all things in Christ who strengthens me.

Therefore, may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be always

acceptable in Thy sight, O, Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

To all, a blessed day to you, precious saints in Christ Jesus.

What a glorious and wonderful day He has given us in His creation.  I pray you are safe and well.  I wish I could be with you but I greet you from a distance and send my love.

All who are in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are awesome saints, now amidst the things of the time we live in in the world in our fight against the evil that Satan and his army of demons may throw against us in this short life…where, later, eternity awaits us in Heaven with Christ, and His Father, and the Holy Spirit, and the uncountable number of holy angels.

Greetings, precious ones, you are awesome! and blessed and saved and forgiven, in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit…Amen.

Soon, very soon, it will be a new year, and we will be saying 2017.

Question: was it a Christian year for you?  Is it a Christian year for the world, the unbelievers?  NO!

Yet, all things belong to the LORD…creation, time, events, actions, seasons, months, days, minutes, seconds, all, everything is the Lord’s! Even the weather and all invisible and visible things, as far as the eye can see…all things!  And especially us, you and me.

GOD created the very beginning of time in the six days of creation.

You remember the account the Lord God gave us in His holy, spoken word written in the Holy Bible, in the very first book, Genesis, chapter one:

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

It goes on to say after God created light and separated it from the darkness, and God called the light Day, and the darkness, Night.

And the evening and the morning were the first day, the first day of creation, the very first 24 hour day!

You see, everything is from God, and of God, and by God! He made all things and keeps everything working perfectly by His Word! He holds it all together; it is all His.

God’s creation week was just that: one week, seven days!

In six days God created everything, and man was created on the sixth day, and on the seventh  day God rested from His mighty work!

And this was the very first week of time, of the beginning of history, in God’s very first year.

All years are the Lord’s…all things happen in His time of years, In the Year of our Lord.

Every year since creation has been the “In the Year of our Lord”…one year of 365 days each (used to be 360…) 12 months, 30-31 days of months…all this moving forward in time is the Lord’s.
