How Great?

How great!  How great the love of Almighty God, the Father eternal, that He gave His only begotten Son to die for the sin of the world, and that whosoever shall believe in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Jesus Christ, the Messiah is the Son of God, and according to the Holy Bible, the spoken word of God written, He was crucified, died and was buried.  On the third day He arose from the dead- physically, bodily resurrected after dying, not a spiritual resurrection, but resurrected by the power of God to a new, glorified, immortal body!  And later, on the Mount of Olives with His disciples, He ascended up above the clouds and out of their sight and up to heaven, where He sits on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty.

And He will return in the same manner, riding on the clouds, with great, great power and might and glory, shinning like the sun, at the trumpets roar, on a white horse followed by His armies of angels and saints.  And He shall crush His enemies.  And He, the King of kings, and Lord of lords, shall set up His Kingdom, the Kingdom of God on earth, and He shall sit on the throne of David; and He shall rule from Jerusalem and His kingdom shall last a thousand years until the end, when there shall be a new heaven and a new earth, and the eternal city of God, the New Jerusalem shall come down from heaven to the earth.  And so shall all believers in Jesus Christ, the saved, dwell for all eternity in light with GOD: the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit…forever and ever and ever…

How great is His love?

How great is His power and might that He created everything out of nothing by His spoken word, “Let there be.”  And in an instant, it was!

Everything working perfectly just as GOD planned.  So wonderful, so majestic, so awesome, so incomprehensible, so beyond finding out how, let alone trying to understand with are small, finite mind.

O, the glory of God; O, the wonders of God; O, the mighty acts of God throughout history! O, the blessings of God in my life…I could never count them all; they are so many without number!

O, the great Shepherd, and we, the flock that He shepherds…praise and glory and thanksgiving unto GOD…O, Jesus, how mighty all the things you did!  O, Jesus, my Lord, my Savior, my all.

For,

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.  He makes me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the  still waters.  He restores my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

How great Thou art, Lord, how great Thou art.

Amen.
