O Blessed Thanksgiving

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O Lord, hear my prayer of thanksgiving…Thy will be done…on earth…as it is in Heaven…to You, Heavenly Father, I give you the thanks for all things through Jesus Christ, Thy only begotten Son, my Lord and Savior, with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my mind.

That we are still a Christian nation whereby the majority believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, despite what the so called “critics” would go to hell and back to attempt to tell us; despite what the enemy, Satan and his uncountable horde of demons would whisper in the ears of many; despite what Muslims and other religions opposed to the one true and living GOD, seek to a disruptive, dark, negative force in the world, and the many? sad to say, and even those fools who say there is no God!

We are thankful, as believers, that we have and can confess our sins unto Almighty God through Jesus Christ, and that we are forgiven and saved for all eternity…and that we have a new kind of life in Him, while we are still here on earth, awaiting the resurrection, the “Rapture,” even as the Lord Jesus will one day, perhaps soon, come in the air above the earth to receive unto Himself His own, the dead and living in Christ Jesus…

I am thankful for my wife and my mom, and my brothers and sisters and all their families; and especially our children, four, and all our seven grandchildren; what a great, great, great blessing, Lord. I am thankful for my church and all my dear friends there, for the students of my classes, for my college, for my ministry the Lord Jesus has given me, for my healing after my back surgeries and overcoming all the setbacks, and that, thanks be to God, I am walking…and in the Lord, my God, I am getting stronger…for accomplishing, to His glory all the events of the past two weeks…for my continued healing…for Your mercy on the sick and needy, of operations and healing, and for all my loved and dear and precious ones who have died…trusting that their last thought was on Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior…Who shall give us eternal life…I am truly thankful, O Lord…

For your words of light, and truth, and life, Your spoken word written as handed down, and contained, and given to us in a book, a precious book called “The Holy Bible.”

And thus, as it is written, for the nearness and sureness of salvation for all who would believe…for what does the Word say? He who has an ear let him hear the words of God:
“But what does it say? The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.

With the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved…For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that all who believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. This is eternal salvation for the believer.

I am thankful for your free gift of salvation for all who would believe, an uncountable number, past, present, and future, that Thou, O LORD only know.

That You, O Lord, are the only one, true and living God…there are no others beside you…the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the blessed and holy Trinity, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever…in whose hands are all things, all events, all peoples from birth to death, century after century, and the prophecies that await future fulfillment…the things to come after the Church Age-the Age of Grace which began at Pentecost in 33 A.D., and has continued, soon approaching some 2,000 years…awaiting the Rapture of the Church Saints; followed by the Tribulation; the 2nd Coming of the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, Jesus Christ, the Messiah to earth with His angels and saints…to set up his kingdom on earth and to rule for a thousand years…the destruction of Satan in the Lake of Fire; the judgment of all unbelievers since human history began; resurrected to face Christ at the “Great White Throne Judgment,” and to be cast alive into the Lake of Fire, which is the second death. Blessed are those who have no part in the second death; follower by the new heaven and the new earth, followed by the New Jerusalem that comes down out of Heaven; followed by eternity.

Blessed are we, and those who love You and believe, O Lord God, for the Kingdom of God is near…

Thank you, Lord for this most blessed time of thanksgiving for all things in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior…and that You might know the thoughts of my heart.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit…

Amen.
