No matter who you are or where you are, you really can know your future as to what GOD has planned! And the best place to be right now is in a love relationship with the Lord Jesus, the Son of God. The world is full of deceit and greed and evil and wickedness in all places! And no wonder, man still thinks he can rule as a king, having rejected the Prince of Peace, the One who is to come at the end of history: the KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS, who will rule with an iron scepter! Jesus Christ is His name and He was here once before, bur not as King but a prophet, a lowly servant, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, who was sacrificed on the cross of crucifixion in the year AD 33 on a hill overlooking Jerusalem and the Temple, in Judea. There He died, was buried in a tomb, and on the third day He rose again from the dead in His new, resurrected, glorified body. After being with His disciples and His mother and all the women who follower Him out of Galilee, eating and drinking and teaching them all the things to come, He then took His disciples to the Mount of Olives and there He was taken up to heaven through the clouds. As they were looking up, suddenly two men appeared in shinning white robes told them just as they have seen Jesus go up to heaven, so in the same manner will He return. They were told to go into Jerusalem and wait for the promise of God to come upon them, the Holy Spirit! This took place on Pentecost, and from this point forward the clock of the future started ticking, revealing how the future will play out from the beginning of the Church Age (the Age of Grace) forward into the 21st Century.

If you can get a timeline of events both past, present and future settled in your understanding, and if you can see it in your mind, you can know with truth and certainty, for it is all written in the Word of God, the Holy Bible! God used men, His chosen vessels to write exactly what He wanted written for all mankind. But the only way your timeline is going to work is by belief! You have to believe all that is written without doubt, or skepticism, or scoffing, or ridicule, or any other excuse man foments in his mind! JUST BELIEVE! And not only will you get the timeline of the future right, but it will change your life forever, even unto salvation! If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, your choice as where you will spend eternity when you die is settled: you will be in Heaven with GOD forever, not in hell!

If you could take s roll of paper and stretch it out around the walls of your room, you would probably have enough space to construct your timeline. But that would have to include just about all the important events that happened in history, but that is not what w are going to do here. Instead, we will select key events spanning 6,000 plus years from the beginning to the future; and from that time to our time over sixty centuries have elapsed into the dust of history. So let’s get started.

Starting with GOD creating all things seen and unseen over 6,000 years ago (sorry, not millions), in six, regular 24 hour days, all things were created adult and all worked perfectly just as God made them. You have your first seven day week and time began. Then, 1,500 years forward and you have the Ark and the Flood that destroyed the whole earth by water save only those who were on the Ark: Noah and his family (eight people in all) and the animals and birds that would repopulate the earth after the Flood. They settled in the valley below the mountains of Ararat in Armenia, and Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth and their wives had children and their children had children and they lived in the tribes of their fathers. Not long after, probably 200 years or so, they went south and scouted out the land between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers in what is today Iraq. Instead of repopulating the earth as God had commanded, they instead chose to make bricks and build a city and a tower, the Tower of Babel! This would not stand, so God came down and confused their language so that everyone spoke in a different language and could not understand one another. That caused them to band together by languages and customs, and they began to spread out over the earth and founded new lands that became nations and kingdoms and cities, This was the beginning of nations and languages. From this point comes a chosen people by God-Israel through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and from the great law giver, Moses to the time of Christ’s death, resurrection and ascension, about 4,000 years have elapsed! Mark that on your timeline and we will go forward from that point in history to the Church Age and great events that will happen afterwards.
